Miss Malta™ is a trademarked beauty pageant rich in history, and over the last 57 years, it developed into a national treasure. It was established in 1963 by GM Productions. Miss Malta is the eldest beauty pageant in Malta and is the only pageant which can use ‘MISS’ in front of Malta. As from 2019 Miss Malta is now under the new director, Mr. Kersten Borg

This pageant gives emphasis to various localities around Malta and Gozo, where one model is representing a locality.

This prestigious beauty contest also carries another five titles which have all been trademarked in 1963, these are as followed;

Miss Malta – Winner
Miss Republic of Malta – 1st Runner up
Miss Tourism of Malta – 2nd Runner up
Miss Grand Malta – 3rd Runner up
Top model malta – 4th Runner up

Miss Gozo – The 1st Gozitan model in the ranking during the finals
Miss Solidarity – The model collecting the most funds for an NGO.

All top 3 winners will be crowned during the Gala Grand final night, which will also be live transmitted. During the night several awards will also be given out, such as Best effort model, Miss Congeniality, Public Opinion and so on.
