As children prepare to return to school, Junior Miss Malta Chrizaya Attard is sharing a message about kindness, acceptance and respect.
In her video, Chrizaya encourages children to say no to bullying and remember that everyone deserves to feel welcome. Small actions, such as including someone in a conversation or offering a kind word, can help make school a better place for everyone.
She also reminds children to speak to someone they trust if they experience bullying or notice it happening to another child. A parent, family member or teacher can listen and help.
As a new school year begins, let’s look out for one another, celebrate our differences and make sure every child knows they belong.
