Miss Malta’s Pink October Photoshoot: Together for Awareness
The Miss Malta Organization welcomed Pink October with a special awareness photoshoot bringing our community together in support of everyone affected by breast cancer.
Held at the Miss Malta Academy in Paola on 25 September, the project featured individual portraits framed by pink flowers. Each photograph formed part of a shared message of solidarity, care and encouragement.
Individual portraits, one shared message
Around 40 participants took part in the project, each bringing their own presence to the series. The pink-flower concept connected the portraits visually while allowing every participant to have their own moment.
Through this campaign, we wanted to use our platform to encourage conversations about breast cancer awareness and express support for those affected, including their families and loved ones.
A warm response from our community
The portraits began appearing on our social media channels on 1 October, and the positive feedback has been wonderful to receive.
“I’m so happy with the response to this project. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped bring it to life. Seeing our community come together for a meaningful cause makes me very proud,” said Kersten Borg, Director of the Miss Malta Organization.
Our thanks go to every participant and everyone who contributed their time and effort to the campaign.
